What it does
- Has one job: find real third-party mentions of your name, brand, and URLs.
- Checks Reddit, Hacker News, news sites, and X by default. YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok are opt-in, and LinkedIn is added only if you ask.
- Gives each hit a real link and a one-line summary, and skips your own posts, spam, bots, and duplicates.
Setup in 4 steps
- Click Add to Grok Bot above, or Import Bot on the listing.
- Review what it includes and connects to, then click Add Bot (xAI's guide).
- Answer its setup questions: your watch list: your name, brand, and website addresses, what time you want the weekday digest.
- Give it a first small job, check the result, then turn on scheduled jobs.
Example
A craft brewery with a growing local following (our example scenario)
- Add the brewery name, the owner's name, and the website.
- Turn on the weekday digest.
- Thank people who post good reviews, and follow up on any complaints.
Tips
- Add common misspellings of your business name.
- X and Slack connectors are optional. Its listing says they add coverage or delivery.
