AI Search Visibility: Grok Bot Template

When a buyer asks an AI assistant for a business like yours, do you get named? This template checks, and tells you who gets named instead.

Made byAdam Tanguay
Good fit for (our take)Any business that wants to know if ChatGPT-style assistants and Google mention it when buyers ask.
Starts fromA handful of questions your buyers actually ask. Its listing says that is where it starts.
Scheduled jobsIts listing says the weekly brief and spot check stay off until you say yes, and they run in your timezone.

What it does

Setup in 4 steps

  1. Click Add to Grok Bot above, or Import Bot on the listing.
  2. Review what it includes and connects to, then click Add Bot (xAI's guide).
  3. Answer its setup questions: what you sell and your own site, who you sell to, and their region and language, your rivals, which assistants you are signed into, and a few more.
  4. Give it a first small job, check the result, then turn on scheduled jobs.

Example

A two-person bookkeeping firm that gets most clients by word of mouth (our example scenario)

  1. List five questions a new client might ask, like "best bookkeeper for contractors near me".
  2. Name two local rivals.
  3. Read where you landed on each question.
  4. Work on the one action in the first brief, then check again next week.
