What it does
- Makes a timestamped transcript of one long recording, from an upload, a public link, or an audio file.
- Finds the moments worth clipping and scores each one strong, maybe, or skip.
- Cuts clips of 20 to 90 seconds by default, vertical 9:16, with captions burned in word by word and a subtitle file beside each clip.
Setup in 4 steps
- Click Add to Grok Bot above, or Import Bot on the listing.
- Review what it includes and connects to, then click Add Bot (xAI's guide).
- Answer its setup questions: your timezone, what you record, your audience and platform, the spoken language.
- Give it a first small job, check the result, then turn on scheduled jobs.
Example
A financial coach who runs a monthly Zoom workshop (our example scenario)
- Upload the workshop recording.
- Ask what is clippable, then pick three moments.
- Have it cut them, and ask its caption skill for post text.
- Post the clips yourself on the platforms you use.
Tips
- Good audio makes better captions.
- One idea per clip works best. That is its default too.
